Here is why people love Phyno and think he deserves far more than he has gotten so far (PICS)

Inasmuch as the talented rapper might have modestly presented himself as a local rapper, he is certainly far from that. Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike (Phyno), is a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. The eccentric Igbo rapper hustled his way up until 2012 when his first album ‘No Guts No Glory’, brought him into the limelight. Born and raised in the city of Enugu, Phyno has grown his music career so well, that it has even gone beyond the shores of Nigeria. It is no surprise though; Phyno is one of the few rappers in the country that still offer pure content.

Beyond the quality of his music, Phyno has a few other wonders in his stash. For one, if you are a keen follower of his, you would know that his style is over-the-top sophisticated. His fashion sense is so good that we wonder why he hasn’t done so much in terms of pushing a career of fashion and style.

For somebody who initially wanted to become a pilot, Phyno has pushed his stand in the Nigerian, and international, entertainment level beyond the rookie stage. With a deal with a sports betting company as well as being a Guinness Ambassador, Phyno is taking the world by storms and we are completely proud of him.

Here are some of the reasons why we love Phyno and why we think he deserves far more than he has gotten.

1. He can actually rap!

If you do not understand Igbo, then you might not understand the weight of this. If you do, then I bet you would agree that Phyno is certainly one of the best rappers the country has to offer. His flows are tight; his content is real, and his delivery is outstanding. He has collaborated with some of the best acts Nigeria has to offer and he has released hit after hit to his fans and we are all grateful for it
