A seasoned Journalist and Political Analyst Kojo Marfo has described Menzgold customers as greedy and selfish saying they deserve what they are passing through.
Menzgold Customers in Ashanti Regional Capital Kumasi have threatened to stage a massive demonstration following management’s failure to pay them their capital and accrued interest.
ReManagement of Menzgold issued a payment plan to pay their customers dividends after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) ordered the closure of Menzgold offices.
Prior to that, Menzgold customers in the Ashanti region have made arrangement to also embark on a naked demonstration to air their grievances.The customers on Thursday stormed the Amakom branch of Menzgold to demand their dividends and capital after they decided to terminate their contract with the company.
Kojo Marfo commenting on the issue on Abusua Nkommo show hosted by Kwame Adinkra said he get pissed off anytime Menzgold customers accused the government of what they are going through.
According to Kojo Marfo, Menzgold Customers should carry their own cross and stop accusing government over the collapsing of Menzgold.
“Kwame sometimes I don’t want to comment about Menzgold issue because the customers are greedy and selfish. They need huge profit that’s why they are facing these problems. They should stop blaming the government. Government has done nothing wrong so they should carry their own cross” he said.
He therefore advised Menzgold customers to rescind their decision of embarking demonstration against government at the Jubilee House.
