Sarkodie got a collabo with American rapper/actor Ludacris( he was part of the Fast and Furious movie)
– Nobody talks about the fact that Sarkodie was invited to one of the best university (Harvard university) in the world in fact the best in the world just to share his experience with them.
Sarkodie has received 77 awards from 140 nominations, including 21 Ghana Music Awards.
Makye, his debut studio album, won him three awards at both the 4syte TV Music Video Awards and Ghana Music Awards.
The album also earned him a nomination at the 2010 MTV Africa Music Awards. Rapperholic, his second studio album, earned him accolades at the 2012 editions of the BET Awards, The Headies, Ghana Music Awards, National Youth Achievement Awards, MOBO Awards, and Channel O Music Video Awards.
At the 2012 BET Awards, Sarkodie became the first Ghanaian artist to win the Best International Act Award: Africa accolade. He was nominated for the same award in 2014 and 2015. Rapperholic, his second studio album, was the recipient of 3 Ghana Music Awards from 12 nominations.
Sarkodie has also emerged the winner in the ‘Best Collaboration’ category for his song ‘PainKiller’ with Runtown at SoundCity MVP Awards held at Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, Nigeria.
