Samira Empowerment and Humanitarian Projects (SEHP), with support from the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TiKA), through the Turkish Embassy in Accra, donated neurosurgical equipments and supplies valued at over GHC 200,000 to the Neurosurgical Unit of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital at Ridge.
She disclosed via Instagram that the donation is an essential support for the high number of neurosurgeries recorded at the facility, a large number of which are motor accident- related.
The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana used the occasion to caution against riding motorbikes without helmets, to avoid brain injuries resulting from accidents.
