Paul of the now defunct P-Square music duo also known now as Rudeboy has said that apart from Sarkodie, all other Ghanaian musicians are blockheaded- they’re not smart at all.
Per his opinion, Nigerian musicians are smart who keeps themselves updated with latest trends.
He however noted that even though Ghanaian musicians are good at setting trends, they’re conservative — they continue to do the same thing without diversifying hence the reason why they are stagnated.

Nevertheless, Rudeboy praised Sarkodie to a far extent as the best Ghanaian artiste but said that all the others were experiencing irrelevance outside Ghana because Ghanaian artistes and music often follow a trend and stagnates with it while Nigerian music creates a trend, recycles the best from other industries and continues to add value to newer innovations.
He said, “Nigerians we’re too sharp…most of the sounds you’re talking about they come from you guys [Ghanaians], if you’re not sharp enough Niger we’re sharper.”
“They are just doing the same thing without developing…they focus on just one thing and stay there. Everyone [in Ghana] does the same thing, [but Nigerians] we develop something and before you catch up, we are gone…”
Backcasting, Zylofon Media signed artistes were in Nigeria some months back and were not given the attention they deserved.
